Manhattan, NY--For the third year in a row, The Noerr Programs is proud to present The Plaza Santa, who is holding court in The Shops at the Plaza. On Nov. 28, 2011, The Plaza Santa joined fashion designer Betsey Johnson to light her fabulous new Eloise-inspired Christmas Tree before a crowd of young, applauding and adoring fans. The Plaza Santa will be on hand to create holiday magic with keepsake photos and postcards. Click here for The Plaza Santa Schedule. In honor of his dear friend Eloise, The Plaza Santa will read books during ‘Storytime with Eloise’ every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas, from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Eloise, the precocious heroine from Kay Turner's classic 1955 books, is the inspiration behind Betsey Johnson’s Tree, which graces The Plaza Hotel’s Fifth Avenue lobby.

In Turner's book, the pint-sized, larger-than-life Eloise lives on the Plaza's "tippy top floor" with her Nanny, her dog Weenie and turtle Skipperdee. No visit to New York City at the holidays is complete without seeing The Plaza Santa now through Christmas Eve.
